April 23-24, 2024
Straughn Professional Development Center, Gainesville

Agenda for the 2024 Urban Landscape Summit (PDF)

The Urban Landscape Summit brings together leading experts, scientists, industry professionals, state agencies and utility providers to discuss the ways to build water supply resiliency with Florida Landscapes.

This year the summit will begin with research updates from UF/IFAS faculty in areas ranging from landscape design and reclaimed water to consumer preferences and landscape alternatives to turfgrass. The day will include student poster presentations before lunch, the opportunity to judge posters during lunch and will wrap up with presentations from external partners about the challenges facing their industry, agency and all of Florida to conserve water. The final day will include two panels featuring developers, builders, and water management professionals with a facilitated discussion about the future of Florida water.

Join other IFAS researchers, community developers, landscape architects, government agencies, and many others as we explore how to build resiliency through water conservation.
