Tina McIntyre is a regional specialized agent in sustainable land management. Her focus is surface water quality and quantity, best management practices related to landscape management, and restoration of urban green spaces. As a sustainable land management agent, she works with partners from local governments, water management districts, developers, industry and UF/IFAS experts to create low-impact development strategies that help to protect natural resources, conserve water and identify the need for green stormwater infrastructure across Central Florida.

Tina has a doctorate in interdisciplinary ecology with a focus in soil and water sciences from the UF School of Natural Resources and the Environment (SNRE), and a master’s in conservation biology from the University of Central Florida.
