Vita
Dr. Koeser is an associate professor of landscape management and specializes in sustainable environmental horticulture, ornamental production, arboriculture, and urban forestry.
Dr. Koeser’s research is primarily focused on issues relating to urban landscape sustainability, tree risk assessment/storm failure prediction, and factors that influence urban tree growth and longevity.
Dr. Koeser’s Extension program helps home gardeners and industry professionals keep Florida’s urban landscapes green and vibrant in a manner that preserves the state’s natural systems.
Dr. Koeser earned a PhD in crop sciences with an emphases in horticulture and biometry, and an MS in natural resources and environmental sciences, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, Illinois.
